The main functions of the Impartiality Committee are to ensure impartiality and objectivity in the assessment of the conformity of products and management systems, as well as to exclude the possibility of any form of discrimination against customers and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n

to counteract any tendency on the part of the conformity assessment body that would allow, for commercial or other reasons, to interfere with the consistent and objective conduct of conformity assessment activities;<\/p>\n

to contribute to the development of an impartiality policy for certification work, overseeing the implementation of the CAB\/OS impartiality policy;<\/p>\n

make proposals on the content and functioning of the management system;<\/p>\n

make proposals for changes to the requirements for product conformity assessment procedures and quality management systems;<\/p>\n

provide recommendations on other issues that fall within the competence of the conformity assessment body<\/p>\n

conduct an analysis, at least once a year, of the impartiality of conformity assessment work, audit processes and decision-making processes of the conformity assessment body.<\/p>\n
